Thai people LOVE the king. You'll find shirts and yellow wrist bands with "Long live the king". Plus pictures are everywhere and the national anthem is played in public facilities like the bus terminals, airports, and even huge markets.

They love him so much they shut down You Tube:
BANGKOK, Thailand -- The Thai government blocked access to YouTube on Wednesday after complaining that a short clip on the popular video-sharing site is insulting to the country's beloved monarch.

Hence no video updated on my blog recently. grrrr.

Aren't you glad your sister reads the newspaper? :)

Hey also, I really want to send you this book that I think you'll love even more so than I've loved it and that's saying something. It's "The Alphabet Versus the Goddesss". It's a pretty long read, but dips into a lot of religious studies and history and leadership a.k.a. it's you!

Check it out on amazon.com and I'll send it to you if you promise to make it worth it by reading it on your way home or something since you are gonna have a sucky finals week since you haven't ever really gone to class, LOL. Let me know!
