Sunday School

The past two Sundays I've taught Youth I Sunday School. Miek (youth director/role model/great guy) talked me into filling in for the teacher while he was away on business. I willingly obliged under the assumption that 5, 10 tops, Youth I (13-16 year olds) would come. I was shocked when over 20 kids walked in the room. WHAT A BLESSING!

Now, let's get real, it's teenagers. So...

WHAT A BLESSING I have some of my moms patience. lol I forgot just how 'high on life' middle school aged kids are. All-in-all I really enjoyed it, especially talking with them after class or watching the pick-up game of basketball on the court outside the church. They have a weekend camping adventure this Friday-Sunday and needed leaders- you bet I jumped on the opportunity!

(Side note: I really missed being a mentor. I've been learning all sorts of things here and it just feels so good to give back and be a teacher/mentor.)
