You know what I miss from the 'good ol days' of high school basketball??? Jock Jams warm-up tapes.
I had my first basketball game with Lingnan University last night vs. Hong Kong University. When I saw a girl on HKU's team come in with an orange sweat band I knew we were doomed. lol They were serious. Although we lost, I thought we played well as a team.
(As I brush off my shoulders) I was proud of my 8 points. It helps to be a foot taller then everyone on the court. haha But in the words of Toby Keith, "I ain't as good as I once was" and about had an asthma attack after playing 6 minutes straight. Also, I'm getting old and loosing my competitive side on sports. When we lost I thought, oh well we had a fun time. GASP! Had a fun time?!?! What's that about?!
