Yes I'm tall.

I'm 6 feet tall which is a bit above the average 5'5" height for Western women but WAY above the average 5'0" height of Asian women. As you can imagine, I get stares and the typical "Wow, you're really tall!" responses when I meet people. But yesterday I got the worst tall joke.

Here is what I posted on my sisters Facebook wall:
"Just for a good laugh, I wanted to pass along THE worst 'man you're tall' insult for a girl. Background of the story: I'm standing next to Joy, my new BFF from church, who is just about 5 feet tall and super tiny. Roseyln then says, "Hey you two look like David and Goliath!"

GOLIATH?! I wanted to cry. Goliath is WAY worse then "Gosh you must play basketball." or "Wow are you like 7 feet tall?" OR EVEN "Man you're like a giant."

Ugh I never thought I'd be able to relate to Goliath but at that moment I felt like I just got knocked out by a stone. Goliath?! I mean come on.
